As of now I have a 96 Jetta GLS 2.0, auto. So not much horsepower here. I bought it for $1200 after I wrecked my Cavalier by slamming it into the rocks on the side of the highway in the snow. It was hit in the rear, but not too bad. I took the bumper off and heated it up to get the dents out of it, and the trunk area i pressed out w/ a hydraulic ram. It looks pretty good from the road. I have had Beetles, a Bus, a Gti, and a few others.

Vag Com diagnosis
The nice thing about the Vag Com software is that it can tell you most things wrong w/ your VW. This is very helpful if your vw is like mine and acts up at times. I built the one below, but I had to wait about a month to get the opto-isolators from mouser. I did manage to scavange some out of a couple Panasonic laser printers that should work if I choose to build another. But I will probably just buy one if I need another.
